Her most recent success Book of Love is the No. 1 (Germany), gold-certified record she collaborated on with Felix Jaehn, with Book of Love currently totaling 23 million combined views on YouTube, over 56 million spins on Spotify and continuing radio rotation worldwide.
Following her successful collaborations with Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Kaskade and many others Polina released her solo single Fade To Love which swept across European Dance airplay charts in 2015 and was Gold certified in Italy. The music video for Fade To Love reached No. 1 on MTV Russia.
In 2016 she released a single entitled Little Babylon (Sony/Ultra) along with a cinematic autobiographical music video shot in the Californian desert. Followed by Echo with Pep & Rash, which surpassed 3 million views in the first month of it’s release.
Polina lives in Los Angeles and can often be seen appearing at world’s biggest festivals such as Ultra, Tomorrowland and Electric Zoo, she was a special guest artist on Felix Jaehn’s “Bonfire” tour in 2016 & Steve Aoki’s “Wonderland” tour. Geography of her work includes LA, London, Berlin, Paris and Moscow.
Polina was born in Moscow in an artistic family (her mom is a Russian 90’s pop singer ANKA, father is an abstract painter Ruslan Gudiev) she studied music from an early age. At sixteen she relocated to the States after receiving a scholarship to attend Berklee College Of Music upon sending her self-produced demos.
Her first steps in music began in New York, at first writing songs for other artists and film. That’s when together with production team Stargate (Rihanna, Katy Perry) Polina co-penned Sean Kingston’s UK No. 1 Sleep All Day, Party by Night (featured on the soundtrack of UK hit comedy “The Inbetweeners” Movie).
In early 2017 Polina premiered her new indie project CONTESSA. Contessa’s debut single and music video Running was featured in UK’s NME magazine. Compared to the likes of Kate Bush, Florence & The Machine & Annie Lennox with four singles underway a very visual Contessa offers a glimpse into the singer’s rich inner world, and shows a new musical side & artistic individuality.
2017 has been busy for Polina. Her collab track with techno DJ Philipp Gorbachev “5th New Century” has been handpicked as the soundtrack for CHANEL Spring Summer collection show in Paris.
Polina also became the judge and special musical guest on “Star Factory” (Novaya Fabric Svezd) Russia’s equivalent of “X factor”. Her stunning performance at the Golden Unicorn Awards 2017 in London was featured by the British GQ. She also performed at the Woman Of The Year Glamour Magazine Awards.
Wrapping up 2017 Polina released a duet with German singer Anna Naklab entitled “Alright” on Warner Music. Followed by her new single with DJ Moguai “Say A Little Prayer” out now on Spinnin Records
